Ben Turner was born in the UK and raised in Hemel Hempstead, a small town just north of London. While still at school, Ben helped his mum, a cook, with various catering jobs and it was then he knew cooking was his calling. He soon enrolled in catering college where he was named Student of the Year and a finalist in several cooking challenges. 

While at college, Ben was singled out to do a one-month stage at Pierre Koffman’s celebrated three-star Michelin restaurant La Tante Claire. This was the turning point in his career and after leaving college, he moved to Haslemere, Surrey to work with another Roux protege, Michel Perraud, at his one-star restaurant Fleur de Sel. London called for the next ten year with Ben spending time a Claridge’s, The Square and Chris Galvin’s Orrery. 

In 2004, Ben took a punt and moved to Sydney where he began working with Matt Moran at his flagship restaurant ARIA. Just on two years year later, Ben was promoted to Head Chef and continues to oversee the two-hat ARIA kitchen.

This incredible night will begin at 6:30pm in the cocktail bar Honey Eater located on the first floor of The Lakeside Mill

Dinner will begin at 7pm sharp

We cater for dietary requirements and a substitution from our set menu will be made for each course. We require all guests to notify us of any dietary requirements by Monday, 20th of June so we can plan your courses 

Tickets are $180 per person

Limited space available

Tickets must be paid for in full upon reservation
